My First Dressage Show with Royal
Royal was a rockstar this weekend for our first show together. As we entered the show ring I could feel him relax as if he knew it was time to shine and take care of me. I couldn't have been more proud of him and grateful for this moment. Thank you to Sabine Schut-Kery for all your support, guidance, and training over the last few months. It's been so fun to watch our partnership grow and develop. Cesar, thank you for always taking such good care of Royal. I never have to worry about him when I'm not at the barn, and you made sure he was shining for the show and I was all set. Thanks to Kristian as well for making sure he got there and home safely, and staying around to help. Of course, thanks also to my parents for coming and supporting me. I truly appreciate everyone at El Sueno Equestrian Center for welcoming us and supporting Para Dressage by offering the para classes: Gina, John, Jennifer, and Natalie. It means so much that we're given the chance to demonstrate our skills in an equal environment, just like any other rider. We truly had a fabulous time and can't wait for the next show!
